While disk space is constantly becoming more affordable, keeping your current drive free of junk is important. This is why an app like BleachBit is good to have. It’s a disk space cleaning utility for Windows.

BleachBit quickly frees up disk space and then tirelessly guards your privacy. With it, you can free up cache space, delete cookies, clear Internet history, share temporary files, delete logs, and discard junk you didn't know was there.

The app is designed for Windows systems.  It wipes data for over a thousand applications including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Adobe Flash, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.  BleachBit includes advanced features such as file shredding to prevent recovery, wiping free disk space to hide traces of files deleted by other applications, and vacuuming Firefox to make it faster.

Conclusion: BleachBit is a decent privacy app and disk cleaner. It will get the junk out.  However, it’s very much like every other app in this category and didn't have much to distinguish it from any other.
